It is hilarious how accurate this is. Coming from a predominantly white country, our peoole have their own way to separate us in groups and hate each other. I wouldn’t say that POCs wouldn’t do the same. It is just the humanity like this. Any big group if people would find ways to be grouped and to hate other groups. Only small groups will be friendly to each other.

My tech illiterate mom is now supporting far right parties in local area, thinks that our country needs to be friends with Russians, scrolls tiktok and tells us always to consult chatgpt. I can understand most of it but all together this is getting rediculous. She can’t answer the question: “How do you think our country can be friends with Russia if Russia constantly blames us for trying to destroy them from inside by applying European values?” too much propaganda on tiktok ig… Sidenote: she’s tech illiterate because she doesn’t read prompts her phone gives her in her own mother language, clicks some random buttons and always asks me why things do not work. All that instead of just pausing for a sec when prompt appears and read it through to understand what buttons do.

Personal anecdote, so take it with a grain of salt. Friend A, very handy and skilled individual, took Thermodynamics in UNI for 2 years, then dropped out. Found job at electronics production facility. Managed to get to a Head Technician position. Friend B, went to programming 3 years to UNI. Barely managed to finish. Retried math exam multiple times. Though friend A, managed to get a job at the same place as a lower tier machinery operator. Got promoted to technician position after 2 years. Now works as web QC for the same guy who is boss of electronic production facility. Moral of the story: education, finished or not, existing or not, wont get you far unless you are outgoing and have connections. Also, you either have ability to learn new skills or have said skills and know how to use them. Doesn't matter how you got them.

Went to test to google AI first and it says "You cant wash your car at a carwash if it is parked at home, dummy" Chatgpt and Deepseek says it is dumb to drive cause it is fuel inefficient. I am honestly surprised that google AI got it right.

Been using motorola for a long time. I bought Moto Z in 2016 and it booted with "Motorola company" text in the end of the boot video. After Lenovo acquisition, phone updated and video now said "Motorola, a Lenovo company". Thankfully, Motorola haven't entshittified over these years. Still a solid phone. Almost no bloat.

I begin to believe that we are here in our own bubble. Most lemmy users are against AI implementation. One can see tons of news articles that state that AI implementation failed in many businesses. According to many here, they either expect AI bubble to burst soon or believe that it will do so in near future. Literally everyone would say that putting AI in firefox is a terrible idea that will stray more users off the browser. If they fear losing user base by not implementing AI, I doubt they are deaf to all the tiny community they have. That is 100% not the "fear" of missing out. That is very likely money grab that was paid by major AI company(ies). They cant be so much blind that they would destroy their community just to not to miss out on AI craze (that also likely already had passed). This is money. But money hunger will ruin Mozilla
