@TheVinylApe@cupoftea.social circa 1999 they were a five piece(more?) and they were amazing. The drummer had the most dished-out, propped up, cracked falling apart kit and it sounded glorious. They played Jay's Upstairs in #Missoula and I bought their Salad Days album, which ruled. They have a pretty deep catalog I think.

@alisynthesis@io.waxandleather.com roland's battery-powered cube amps have a nice clean sound. If batteries aren't important, I like orange's small practice amps.

@rojun @GlasWolf @infobeautiful i'm not a real SW fan, but I thought The Acolyte was smarter and more interesting than most warses, and nobody went to fucking Tatooine

@petrillic@hachyderm.io @GIMP@floss.social Yeah... "GnIMP" is right there, and way better anyway, and fun to say Edit: thanks for shaking this tree Chris, so many rats fell out and my block button is feasting :)

@mjibrower@mastodon.social Which editor are you using? I periodically check, but I've never found an equivalent (Foss/nix) that works, always looking for something better

@inanedirk@metalhead.club @yourfutureex@metalhead.club it's really the prose that makes it such a legend.

@lexfeathers@tenforward.social African Music Forum @blogamf@indieweb.social is mostly archival/legacy; lots of great sounds
