This week we welcomed our new batch of students.
Only one third already arrived physically. Two thirds still have to come. That is why we do lectures in first semester in "hybrid mode".
We wish all first semester students a good start in Karlsruhe and at our university.

Time to celebrate: This week the Senate of Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences approved the new exam regulations for our programme. 🎉
In the process of re-accreditation of the programme we used the chance to reform the curriculum and exam regulations. So all our modules now have 6 ECTS credit points to make exchange easier. Also we converted 2 smaller projects to one bigger. Exam load of students was optimised.
It becomes valid with the new semester and the new batch, coming soon.
The international programme started in 1998, so is one of the oldest Master's degree programmes. Now we are well prepared for a good and long future.
Our department published a new video about one of our SSTM students and her project work:

The new semester started, the new batch of students arrives in Karlsruhe.
As each year since 1998 a new batch of M.Sc. students in Sensor Systems Technology starts their studies in March.
Far more than the expected 25 first-semester students are registered. Due to delays in visa processes we again do most of the events in a hybrid mode: in presence and in parallel online with BBB.
Additionally some dual degree students switch to our university and continue their studies in 3. semester.
A warm welcome to all our new students!
Applications are completed. We received more than 250 applications for the 25 seats we offer.
The course starts one a year in mid of March. It exists since 1998 and always was addressing international students.
Let's see how many new students will register and join us in March!
Non-EU applicants please hurry up
Non-EU residents who need a visa for studying with us, should apply latest 15.11.
Please apply at https://hka-application.sensin.eu as soon as possible. Thank you.
