i'm writing the kind of code that gets you evicted from the cycle of samsara. i'm writing the kind of code that dooms one's immortal soul. i'm writing the sort of functions to make the very gods turn their backs in disappointment

i do indeed miss old friends in Notepad++, and Dreamweaver, and FileZilla. i miss the excitement of FTP, and the sheen of the first domain i ever bought; the endless ensuing hallways of subsequent subdomains. i miss feeling the modem noises in my teeth, and the dirt of the web beneath my fingernails
computer Show Me Less Like This. show me Parisian streets and their denizens, show me futurist art and central american architecture. show me black forests and crystal pools, steady wildlife and bad poetry and confused yellow cabs. computer, show me the agonies of Men in love
🌧️ hey yeah it’s launch day. had a blast making this website with the inimitable @redintheshell@mstdn.party, a Mastodon Account & in many ways a dear friend whose outlook on life inspires me deeply :)
this is a project made with love for the web, strange friendship, and reiselust. i'm excited to share it with y'all 🤍
new year, new website :) with thy surest steel gathered to thy side, turn to face these new nightmares, these...True Terrors (of the New Dark Web)
plenty to do but i'm thrilled to publish this 🤍 thanks a lot if you end up taking a look, but hark! go heedfully:
scroll with caution & with care!
woke with a start, another dream about working on the grime of the 'Net. it's near dawn, the sun waiting for me below the horizon, and the air is crisp on the ranch. i stretch; make my way to the photovoltaic array. i dont work on the web anymore, traded long ago pixels for panels on the solarfarm.
put some thoughts together on the LLM trend and its implications for labor rights. there's a lot to be said about the lofty claims of pro-LLM technologists, but this presumes their promises of efficiency, etc. are true.

new on strangersbyspring.com, @redintheshell@mstdn.party writes about where the little luminescent ghosts of every love you've had go
@neauoire@merveilles.town you've always been a fearsome adversary but this time you've taken it too far 😤😤😤
