@RolloTreadway@beige.party the bit about it being 'not real' had somehow not occurred to me. I'd got that mostly they are social performance (and that I just have to wrap my legs round the chair legs and scream internally) because if people wanted actual collective decisions someone would be tasked with finding out the necessary info in advance, so thinking of them as facilitated small talk within a power structure makes sense I think

COVID New Variant. This has been flagged up in the media but (round here at least) it does seem to be pretty contagious. I work in a college with LDD adults and both learners and staff are dropping fast. Symptoms for some include vomiting as well as the usual. Take care out there all of you x
