Hey!
https://github.com/chromiumembedded/cef/issues/4061 is fixed. Now spotify needs to update to a recent version of CEF and we will see a better looking decoration on wayland.

@tagesschau ohne zu schauen, wette ich, dass der Fokus auf eine andere US Platform gelenkt wird, statt auf eigene Kanäle.

@mattsheffield@mastodon.social I only know the behavior explained by me. Its how it it on Firefox, Thunderbird, Steam, Spotify, basically everything I use. So I guess I'm happy that GTK defaults to it as well. I dont care how it was in the past, I want it to be mostly the same everywhere.

"Now, the default for GTK apps is that if you click in a position within the scrollbar groove, it will "warp" you to wherever you clicked as a position within the content."
This sounds very sane, tbh.

You might hate me for this but I wish systemd would include a firewall.
Not because I think it needs one included, but to have a defacto Linux standard.

@mattsheffield@mastodon.social little optimisations to reflect the behavior of the broader ecosystem is actually very important. Sticking to old design choices for the sake of it sounds not healthy.

@BongoMcnulty yea! Not only that, it's fully localized and even commented, a.k.a. audiobook-mode for a lot of languages.

- granular scrolling with the wheel/swype gestures
- jumping to a position by clicking to that position in the scrollbar no?
