@jensscholz Guter Thread. Was mich noch umtreibt: Wo kommt das Geld, das ich an Steuern zahle, denn her? Doch wohl zuerst vom Staat? Geht es beim Staatshaushalt also gar nicht darum, Geld zu erhalten, um Geld auszugeben, sondern darum, mit geschickten Steuern das ausgegebene Geld angemessen zu verteilen?

With regards to rolling 1s (or not making the roll in general), I too was irritated by the consequences the result had for the narrative (see The Gamers).
My solution was this: A bad roll either means that the lock is too jammed, rusted etc. (establishing the fact forever), or that the character just needs a longer time than usual. So no more "you failed", instead "it wasn't possible anyway, the dice just said so".

@androidarts@mastodon.gamedev.place Yes, that's what I think. I bought foam and a used blender for cheap, shredded the foam and mixed it with paint and water. I don't remember whether I put in glue. I'll add glue again and make my trees like that.
I also made flock from sawdust, I can sprinkle that over it afterwards. But I guess that would not fit that scale, I need trees and foliage for 6 mm.
