To everyone going through shit. Keep fighting. Keep putting one step in front of the other. I can’t promise it will get better, but I can promise if you keep moving things will change.
When you run out of ink mid diary entry so the text just suddenly changes from purple to black.
This means I get to try a new color though. :D

How much of our lives is being wasted by marketing and ads? How much of a hit to “productivity” and GDP do companies destroy with advertising and marketing.
It’s kinda mind blowing when you think about it that way. (Not that I believe “productivity” is that important, but sometimes you gotta play the game to make a point.)

On one hand I almost died snowblowing today. On the other hand my calorie counting app gave me almost a whole fourth meal for all the extra calories I burned.
I did hurt my wrist somehow while snow blowing and it means I couldn’t use a computer most of the day. Hope it’s better tomorrow.

I know there’s a good chance I’ll get hate for this, but the world isn’t straight forward and the answers are often nuanced.
And I fully agree something needs to change, but part of it is the institutions not just cops.
For example, we need to abolish private prisons. Imprisoning people should not be profitable for anyone.
I've been watching "Hidden Killers" on youtube which is a series about hidden dangers throughout history.
There's this one expert they have that love to say "absolutely lethal" all the time. It honestly should be a drinking game.

I keep wondering where AV1 will be 5 years from now. One reason h264 is still so good is because the encoders (such as libx264) have been optimized to hell and back.
An optimized AV1 is coming. It seems to have enough support that people will work on it.

HELL YEAH! Lead holders are awesome. When I draw with pencil I always use lead holders these days. So much better than pencils and mechanical pencils.

I think this may be my new favorite license.
Why do so many history videos say the year once at the beginning of a video and then expect me to remember it? Especially when they then say “the next year”. Why?! Why not say “the next year in 1763” for example. Give people constant reaffirming of when this is taking place.
