@gardencourt@tech.lgbt Look what your demons need to inflict even a fraction of a damage upon you! We all know how it is, and we are all here for you if you need a few more voices to drown out the mean ones. :neodeer_hug_cat_heart: Nothing gets to be mean to you on our watch!

@gardencourt@tech.lgbt What's the mystery? You are cool and smart and cute and kind, everybody in their right mind would want a review from you. Hell, I'd put together some article just for that honour alone.

@Kathee_HDS @aronia Roguelite mathematics: every time you fail to prove a theorem, you have to delete all your work and start proving everything again from axioms.

@gardencourt I've always read this more as a pro-femininity thing, especially in the case of that anecdote with someone's mother first hearing about trans women. In the sense that contrary to what patriarchy wants you to think, femininity is valuable and desirable, because otherwise we wouldn't fight tooth and nail for it. I agree that the state of the world makes this a rather bleak thing if you look at it from that angle, but I think it's supposed to be a "let this radicalise you" message.

@celestia Extra virgin olive oil always struck me as "this olive oil is absolutely, seriously unfucked, like not even fantasised-about".
