@HarriettMB@toot.wales If the BBC were able to track him down, then so should the cops and drag him before the courts. The cheek of him to say he won't remove it as it was something he created as content, bullshit and I dare say he's done it repeatedly.

@dropbear@aus.social I felt genuine anger and shame for reading the article, the fact the man who recorded the video said he invested time and money into making the video is not an excuse. The victim of the video did not ask to be plastered on the internet for all the world to see. If some one recorded me or my wife and kids without my permission, the glasses wouldn't be long in getting smashed along with anything else the person has to store the videos on.

However if it was them getting recorded with these devices we wouldn't hear the end of it, so why should ordinary citizens accept these things as being part of every day society.

@mahryekuh@hachyderm.io I am not sure what can be done to disable the glasses or if they can be disabled at all, my guess is if such a device exists that the makers of smart glasses find a way to prevent it working.
