Good one!
I guess the police aren't the only ones to be able to send in Agents Provocateurs.

My motto is, "if they behave, I'll behave"...they don't behave.

Why fight Google? It just wastes my energy. I have a Linux phone from Jolla coming; that's my solution. No energy required for fighting. Make them irrelevant.

I've never had paid TV. I refuse to pay to have ads pushed in my face. I download everything I want for free. I take from corporations every chance I get.

Being around longer on this planet means older people can see the change in the climate easier than younger people. The climate and species that are extinct is alarming if you grew up in the 60's and 70's.

@IzzyOnDroid@floss.social I'll be glad when my Linux phone gets here from Jolla; I will no longer have to deal with GoogleCrap.

All it is, is Gestapo+tech. The East German STASI would have salivated over the tech we have.

I mentioned my experience and my belief is, take what you need and leave the rest behind. Everyone's needs are different. I offered my own and hopefully others will offer theirs.

I have enjoyed both but the book would be my recommendation. It's not as light-hearted and humorous as the movie ( there are parts in the book that portray some funny stuff that a movie would have a hard time portraying) plus there's more information so the story can be understood better. Also, I find my imagination much better than a movie for visualizing.

Me too. I also keep adding products to my, "don't buy US" list. I intend to do this for the rest of my life. After their threats and insults, if I were in charge, I would have broke off diplomatic relations until apologies were made in international media by the orange taint.

Yeah and they keep moving the X so I have to look for it. I have an Addon called, "Behind the Overlay" when one of those ads popup I just press the Addon icon and this gets rid of most of them.

The first animal that comes to mind when I think about the private power provider habitat is, the "Yellow-backed corporate Shitheel". (I look for oportunities to ridicule corporate invertebrates)😁
