Surface Temperature sensors (infrared) look like cameras or like a brick with a hole in it as well and are used for efficient winter maintenance

My country have them as well (it is a kit from a local provider). But of course my country sneeky deployed a Chinese smart cloud cam on top as well (a Hikvision Cam).

You even see the hikvison cam on the Website of decentlab, but when you click on the kit, you see, that the cam is not part of it.

This is old windows problem, 11 does not do it on my work pc, I think Maybe it is vendor specific 🧐

It is not all Linux, some are BSD based, like a lot of routerOSs

Congrats to your son!

Same in macOS, but it is just a save as PDF button in the print menu rather than a fake printer like in Windows

Of course, hi-speed trains are way better than personal cars and airplanes 😄 I just wanted to point out that the “fastest trains in the world” trophy is not something achieved saintly, but because it had to be the “best”, a la make big numbers bigger. The growth of value for the people is minimal, but the (energy) costs are immense. With trains, punctuation is way more important than max speed 😇

https://www.reuters.com/world/china/even-chinas-14-bln-population-cant-fill-all-its-vacant-homes-former-official-2023-09-23/ For the housing thing

They have entire cities with empty houses if I remember correctly, and the ultra high speed rail is immensely inefficient as air resistance is raising in square proportionally to speed I think building houses that will never be used as similar bad as to less housing..

Old word for macOS had the best UI in my opinion, it was like Photoshop, where the functions where in a separate floating window on the side. That makes totally sense, since word is normally used with paper being portraits oriented while screens a normally landscaped. Gives much more screen estate and doesn’t reduce hight which is limited anyway.

Psst 🤫 You don’t need anti-homeless architecture if you fix your society (Every human has a right for housing and food in my opinion, labour should be for luxury, not survival)

You need more culture, art and music in your live.. But not the big corporations soul-less stuff, the good stuff, the real stuff
