LA Sooner

It feels like they told all the people they knew that could do kung fu that they could be in the movie if they pitched in $100. They could say something for $500. #kungfusat

Well, seen that one now. Thanks for making it fun #kungfusat pals. Take care. See ys aoon.

This is brutal. Not sure if it's the writing or acting that's ruining it. "That's a bad combination." #kungfusat

BBQ tips from the Dragon. #kungfusat

Final showdown. I hope. #kungfusat

We're going to be doing zombies the rest of October at #sundayfunnies. Various streaming options. All are also available on internet archive, if that's your cup of tea. #monsterdon

We're slowly making our way through The Big Valley at #westwed Richard Long was one of the brothers. Passed away of a heart attack at only 47 in 1974. #monsterdon

Apparantly there is also a Hollywood film from 1981. The 2 women are writers, one writes for the critics and one for the cash. Don't remember it at all. 2 hrs. long. Doesn't look like there's any fight scenes in this one.... #kungfusat

Tonight's #ILikeToWatch is a tribute to animation/comics and has a nice reggae-ized/funk version of the hong Kong Phooey theme by Sublime. Bound to be one or two new ones, but you'll probably be very familiar with most of the songs. 10 P ET. #kungfusat

Computer's down. Can't do shit now. #monsterdon

Time is relative. There may be a planet in another universe with intalliget life where It alternates light and dark every seven days, so their days would be two weeks our time. And I suppose you'd get used to it growing up, but moving to that kind of light cycle from every 12 hours would be a REAL psychological game. I'm high AF. Howdy #monsterdon

This would be a good drive-in movie. #monsterdon

Out of bed and sort of awake for #kungfusat......

This is from 2015. There's a listing for a '2', but it doesn't look like it ever got made. Not sure though. #kungfusat

It's OU/TEX day and I'm hosting 3 watch parties, starting with #kungfusat at Noon ET. Trying to calm my stomach this morning with some pastrami chili cheese fries from Big Tomys......

Not even 10 am and it's already 87. Gonna be over 100 this afternoon. I'm starving and if I don't eat now I won't have an appetite until way late tonight. Looks like it's an ice cream for lunch kind of day. That means no nap. #kungfusat

An hour left.... #kungfusat

I got some laced chocolate last time I was at the dispensary. Doesn't taste particularly good, seems to kick in a bit faster than the gummies. #kungfusat

"They're safe as long as they return within 24 hours of departure." That seems SUPER fucking important. She delivers it in such a 'oh, I almost forgot' manner. Awesome. I wouldn't worry about it. #monsterdon b

#KungFuSat 10/10/26 Noon ET.

Hanging accomplishes death through neck breaking, not strangulation. #monsterdon

This is really fast moving. #monsterdon

The actors in this are trying. SO hard. And failing. SO bad. #kungfusat

@JanineFromPgh@mastodon.social I think it's more that people that can't act think that acting looks ad libbed and so that's what they're trying to do. I think they think this is good. #kungfusat

Bama laying a beating on Miss. St. early. The baseball is about to start. Chi/Cle. Curious to see what announcing teams they use on TBS. #kungfusat

104 minutes. That's like Gone With the Wind for a kung fu movie. #kungfusat

I know I saw the reboot of this but all I remember was Geoffrey Rush in the vincent Price role. Don't remember if I liked it or not. #monsterdon

Not anywhere near skilled enough to eat noodles with chop sticks. I have enough trouble with a fork. #kungfusat

There are a lot of time travel films, and a lot I like, but still there is one 'best' and I first saw this as a young teen. An age you don't like anything 'old' and fucking loved it. Still do. #monsterdon

"We may be the Adam and Eve of a brave new world. Wonder if they have taco bell?" #monsterdon Thanks gang. Take care. See ya soon.

There's is ZERO chance that the person didn't notice the strings attached to the skeleton. Unless they were drunk. #monsterdon

An original song? Do you think? If it is, it's the best thing so far. #kungfusat

@lysdexic@hachyderm.io Especially in Asian cinema at this time. Sometimes it sounds like they just turn on a Casio and hit the 'demo' button. #kungfusat

Play now and enjoy.... #kungfusat

I squandered my time watching baseball playoffs this week and didn't look for anything for next week, but I did see something from 2024 with Cynthia Rothrock and Billy blanks and Mathias Hues and a bunch of other old timers called The Last Kumite. Didn't check where it's streaming. Any interest in me looking? #kungfusat

"In a hurry dear?" he asks, knowingly. And that little smile. #monsterdon
