What's funny is that in a war game done by us generals in the past for a situation with a war with Iran, this was the _exact_ strategy the US general did at the time to defeat the US Navy - a bunch of small boarding vessels armed with bombs launched at boats and aircraft carriers in order to deplete their ammo (along with small slow moving mini subs with big explosives that would be missed by radar especially with the focus being on the slightly bigger cheaper surface boats). This was in the 2000s if I remember right. And yet, that exact mistake is being done now lol

Have you tried inviting them both to your place for a game of Uno? Then when they are there, say you'll go get the game, and show up ready wearing nothing but the Wild+2 card:

As long as they don't have this specific next card

you should have a good chance at achieving it.

The only thing I know about that Hassan guy is that he uses a shock collar on his dog. Thought that was what he was best known for after all the memes

What's funny is your experience is similar to mine except my family was Hispanic and living in the USA. I went to work with my mom or dad s lot too, both before and after school, even up to my preteens. We didn't boil the tap but we didn't really drink it either - it smelled weird (later testing showed it had some heavy metals and other hazardous chemicals - likely from the nearby refineries) - instead we went to this water well thing where we would out 5 gallon jugs of water (like the one in water coolers) and got water they're for drinking. We did get the internet sooner, at least I suppose. But for awhile my experience with the internet were those "free trial" discs the companies gave because internet was (and I hear still is) expensive.

Nope, people proved it was a shock collar by finding the exact model when he tried briefly showing it on camera to supposedly prove that it wasn't. But, that's all I ever heard about him. And partially from all the memes generated. I just assumed he was another American neoliberal talking head. But from reading comments here I guess he's supposed to be a famous leftist?...

So honest question about veganism here, since it relates to animal suffering - are vegans limited to what medicine they can use, since nearly all of it required animal testing? Especially since usually these animals suffered WAY more than livestock does, due to how medicine is tested. If yes, and the philosophy does allow medicine, then does that mean raising your own chickens in ideal conditions and only eating them at an old age / near death is fine in that case, for example?

It's funny because that means something like freaking Neurosama made by a YouTuber could probably do better at AGI than these multi billion dollar companies due to it being designed so it can modify it's own code depending on the task given (and at one point, doing so while not directly prompted). Of course, this makes Neurosama completely useless at work focused tasks outside of coding, because it can and does refuse to do things on purpose. And that's exactly why you won't see AGI coming from any huge business corporation - because they're trying to make something that replaces workers, rather than something that has no direct purpose. (Disclaimer - this is not to say Neurosama is AGI in any way, just that it could probably do the tasks much better than the mainstream AIs can, because it has been build with flexibility and adaptability in mind.)

That's too extreme for most people. A lot of people do want certain services to remember they logged in for example. Waterfox is typically the better recommendation - or, was. I'm less trusting of them after they chose to use Brave Browser code for an AdBlocker

I’ve never played mass effect but have always been interested. Never did so because I heard the ending was terrible. So, from what I see from this list of kids, is it better to maybe play for the first time with mods instead of vanilla? Seems so to me.

Same, haven't heard of him and moved away for nearly a decade. Just the dog shocking memes. Good if he's mobilizing young people to vote I guess? But I don't really trust any of the political YouTube people in general - seems there's too much money involved to not be biased.

I mean, animal torture is pretty high there though. See, thing is the are not things I've heard of more prominent people who would be easier targets of smear campaigns, like Bernie Sanders or AOC. And then there's purity testing and holding any morals at all. Purity testing is completely dismissing AOC because of the railroad workers strike vote. Dismissing morals is supporting a talking head that financially benefits from saying things and tortures their pet for appearance purposes.

Yeah but the classic CIA playbook is to support/arm rebels and place your puppet among them as a leader. As for Israel, I think they want the territory. They want all the territory.

There's a cold, dark calculation I'm sure Iran has done which probably determines less people = more water. After killing the protestors (which btw, Trump was too stupid to support so good luck on that rEgImE chAngE) plus casualties from war simply happening, there's more water for the remaining. So even though they've lost some water supply, they've also lost population, balancing things out.

It’s the blood that seems to matter more than the organs, and not all organs follow this rule. Kidneys for example don’t really change much.

Spain’s protests did include violence. A great deal of people fought off police and set up barricades to prevent that elderly woman from being evicted. The peaceful protests were also backed by the threat of escalation if nothing was done. The paper payslips thing was also more than just about a payslip. The protests were about accountability - it’s easier to change a database about how much work you did later than it is to change a physical paper given to you months ago. That’s not a hypothetical, that’s something that happens and not just in France. Go back to your right wing misinformation chamber and stop spreading bullshit here.

The Brax phone raised some extremely serious red flags when I saw they put on their banner it was promoted by Joe Rogan and use Brave as their primary browser. Having two scammers featured makes it feel like a scam.

I live in Finland and have managed to always find an alternative. Ireland gets way more shipping options than Finland. You’re literally just not searching hard enough. don’t use Google. It always only tries to give regional search options. Use Startpage and change the region. search in a different country’s language. If searching in Poland for example, search in Polish. And heck, if you somehow still can’t find what you need from those stores, just look at China - EU shops. Most of Amazon’s shit is from China anyway, so might as well avoid the middleman.

Then why mention Google search in your previous comment? There’s more countries than Poland. That’s just an example. You could try Spain - they have a big market too, for example. Or you could do option three I mentioned and you ignored - buying straight from China if out of options. It’s likely the thing you wanted was made there anyway if you can’t find a European courier service to ship it to you. We both know why Amazon is successful. But unless you or I get a couple million euros minimum, we can’t do much about setting up a competitor to Amazon (Also they operate on multiple languages too btw, there’s Amazon.de in German or Amazon.es in Spanish). Firefox browser at least translates well enough. If it didn’t exist, you’d have a much better reason, but it does. It’s not that hard to boycott Amazon, but people from 1st world countries have gotten extremely lazy for very particular things. This is one of them. Buying something already takes more effort than not buying something - units you’re someone born with a silver spoon in your mouth I suppose. People in these countries have a more “throw it away” attitude than a “needs to keep working a long time” one. It’s cultural. Does it take more time to give something without Amazon? Yes. Does it take a lot more time though? Not really. In the end, it really comes down to just not caring enough about fascism/climate/corruption. Because realistically, by choosing Amazon, you’ve already decided that those things matter less than whatever doodad you’re buying, and outside of something that’s from the base layer of the hierarchy of needs, like medicine or food, you don’t have a good reason. I’ve grown up poor. I’ve gone through times of poverty so extreme I went without food for nearly a week, and other times would walk miles to forage for food in a forest. While in university. The ones in high horses are the ones privileged enough to think needing to buy something from Amazon is a realistic issue.
