Do any of you in the 20-45 y/o age range actually feel comfortable in your body? I’m sitting at the airport people watching and feeling the same discomfort with my body and appearance that I’ve always felt, and I wonder how many women don’t feel like that and what it’s like. Its exhausting and honestly makes me want to not be alive a lot of the time.

Sweden is a huge country, I drove 6 hours down to Malmö recently, and lots of people live on the outskirts where train and bus services are slower and more spotty. But if you live in the cities here, you don't need a car.

Eh, okay dude, sure thing, I usually have my browser set by default to 80% zoom on lower res screens and my font is quite small on the 4k, I also disable any kind of scaling. Believe it or not, not everyone sees the world like you do. It sounds like you made up your mind though, which is cool for you I guess. I appreciate advances in tech, especially stuff like display tech, you kind of remind me of my dad the time he told us we’d never need a hard drive bigger than 2gb, lol. I’m just gonna go be gud over here, you do you over there… I’ll also add that anti aliasing is not as important nowadays because realistically, it was a way to hide lower resolutions by smoothing edges, now edges can be smooth at native resolutions without it. (there’s nuance to that ofc) I’m not sure if you hated AA too.

While I do agree, upscaling is nice when your primary monitor is 4k, because playing 1080 on a 4k monitor looks like a pixel art game.

Pretty L sarcastic take tbh. I work on my pc, I also have 3 screens at my pc, 4k is invaluable as I can get so much more done more easily when I don’t spend my time scrolling through code. Working on anything below 1440 feels cramped. I guess movies could look good, I wouldn’t know tho.

Here we go, taken from where my head usually sits. I just copied some random text in so you can see. And yes, this is exactly the way I use it every day. Quite unimpossible for me. Excuse the OS, that’s forced upon me by work. Bonus 1080p screen on the side. Works pretty fucking amazing for me and I plan on replacing my side monitors with 4k ones too because they feel too cramped. Edit: shit, I just checked, I had the browser at 90%, sorry, I do swap around between the 1080 and 4k all the time so I adjust as I move across and 80% is at times too small on the 4k.
