@david_chisnall@infosec.exchange people dont notice, because they are used to write specifications in the form of telling others what to do.
They still should talk about this part more though, as they are often very terrible in it.
For the fun part, many of the verification steps are also done directly or indirectly by generated code. So it needs a lot of manual testing.
A bit like trial and error programming one is doing in the first years of learning....

@Maker_of_Things even for techy people its, not trivial.
Have backups of everything, of the phone OS, but also separately of the things important.
There is some extra affort needed for some apps, mostly banking ones, as they see this device as rooted and therefore insecure.

In the bottom it says "You are receiving this because you are a GitHub Copilot user."
I guess only people who were using it got the mail (and only this activity is used?) Didnt read the linked pages yet.

@roxy@chitter.xyz iam far from involved in this topic, but, "a sham game that rips off success" might apply to most of the successfull games.
And saying this about a "puzzle" game is reaching ridiculous levels of absurd.
Dont worry about this bad talks.
Honestly, iam fascinated by these games since mario picross, i played pokemon picross. And seeing more games like this is a benefit.
Some people are simply toxic, and they might not even own a single of these games

@meganL@mas.to at least for germany,
constant "vandalism" is one reason.
Also the "fight" against drug addicts.
And the politicans try to avoid giving anything for free which benefits the lowest :/
