@clairemathieu dans les laboratoires les chercheurs ont besoin de soutien administratifs et techniques et plus de flexibilité financière. Par exemple un chercheur qui a un budget serré passe des heures pour préparer sa mission à comparer les prix de billets d´avions/hotels qui coutent 10x plus cher sur le notilus/goelette qu´en achat direct. En sus de la perte de temps doit il avancer de sa poche ? Les chercheurs ont besoin d´une dotation minimale annuelle pour lancer des projets ou pour faire la soudure entre 2 financements. La baisse des dotations aux laboratoires met les laboratoires dans des situations financières impossibles, qui impactent tous les projets par des frais cachés prélevés sur les projets (20% d´un budget d´un projets partant en overhead). Est ce que le cnrs va continuer dans sa stratégie de se separer de produits microsoft.

The Coordinated Action “Diagnostic, Therapeutic and Vaccine Viral Targets” of #ANRS MIE is organising a #webinar on #AI for molecular discovery. This webinar will explore how AI and #computational #modelling are advancing #drugdesign and protein research.
Speakers will present approaches for molecular design, prediction of protein variant effects and dynamics, and structural modelling of protein–protein interactions.
