Corporate culture is patriarchal. If it doesn’t put everyone into a hierarchy where they’re forced to subjugate themselves then that can’t work because that’s against the emotional reason the bosses got the job in the first place.

If 99% of guns were sold to angel inc. would you call guns good? If so, then it’s still not something inherent to the guns. If not, then your Devil Inc. Analogy isn’t very good since it’s not at the core of your reason for disliking them.

If you don't like or don't want to explore music, that's your prerogative. It's a hobby and a skill you can build like anything else. You could have the one pop, country, or metal song/artist you enjoy and not branch out, it's perfectly valid, but if you like the sound of a particular song or genre there are many songs in other genres that will have the same vibe. It's just up to you to explore. I think part of the problem here is that a "genre" is a vague, idiosyncratic definition that overlaps with every other so-called genre.

It definitely depends. It’s also hard to tell. My most straight-laced friends from college did acid at least once if not more, and there is a friend or two of mine that I would swear on my life experimented with drugs if I didn’t know better. That’s something people don’t really acknowledge about drugs. The actual rate of hard abuse or like injuries/death is relatively low. It’s like driving a car, it’s one of the most common causes of death but the actual chance is so low that you don’t really think about that every time you hop in one. Similarly, a lot more people have done drugs (at least once) than you would expect. It’s just if you only take acid once there’s an overwhelming chance that it won’t have any long-term effects (except for the epiphany that there’s a wider world out there than just our every day perception lol) Then again, it varies wildly by region so there’s a fine chance that it really isn’t as popular around you.

Yeah exactly. Voting is 20 minutes out of one day once a year if you’re super active. It doesn’t hinder any other efforts and it doesn’t diminish all the other work you can and should be doing the other 364 days 23 hours and 40 minutes. Maybe you can spend that 40 minutes learning about the candidates to have a more informed vote. It’s just a stinky thing you do to try and put the lesser of two evils in.
