Musician friends, have a look at oooo.
It's an incredibly cool and powerful new looper plugin with a very nice visual aesthetic, and some basic audio effects. Also works in standalone mode.

Wishing Robert Fripp a Happy 80th Birthday! 🎉🥳
When Returnal came out on PS5 I gifted the game to a friend. He liked it, but found it too frustrating and not his thing, so he gifted it back after a year or so.
It's years later and finally I decided to give it a go myself. I'll probably never get past the first biome, but I really wanted to see and feel how the game plays for myself, even though I hate difficult games because I'm lousy at dodging and strafing, and I start panicing when I see more than three bullets coming my way. 😅

Discovering Electronic Music (1970)
It's exactly 6 years ago on this #BandcampFriday that I released Sleepwalkers with fellow ambient artist Somniacs.

I built a project in Bitwig where I route my bass guitar through OOOO: an impressive looper plugin.
Then I use the Stepper MIDI device to play the recorded loops, starting from random spots in the loop, with random note lengths. Playback occurs at same speed, at a quarter note below, and an octave below the original sample frequency.
Playing into this setup leads to a mesmerizing, constantly evolving, dreamy soundscape that I can't get enough of.
Check out OOOO here:
Maybe I should create a metal track. I guess I'll have to learn to play metal riffs on my 7-string bass.
