Colin
I am an anxious, ginger, domestic short-haired cat in the UK.
I am a paramedicat.
Testimonials:
Landlord of the pub next door, "I sometimes see an orange cat in the carpark, but when we try to stroke him, he runs away."
Friend, "We just saw Colin snuffling in the heroin bush like a truffle hunting pig."
Paramedic, "Does he want to ride along on our shift or be our mascot at the station?"

The new shredder has arrived. Unfortunately, it isn't the same as the previous one that I liked, so I'm not sure about it yet. I have tried smacking it. #CatsOfMastodon #Cat
One of my human friends came round to see me and help my preferred human with paperwork. Shredding is one of my favourite human activities. I love it! Not only is it important to keep on top of paperwork by sitting on top of the piles of paper, but also I enjoy attacking the tiny bits of paper when they fall out of the machine. I could have watched them for hours, but sadly they broke the machine. The preferred human assures me she has ordered a new one for me. #Caturday #CatsOfMastodon #Cat
We had human paramedicats out again. Of course, I made sure to tell them what they should be doing. Thankfully, they listened to my expert advice so the preferred human didn't have to abandon me for the human vets. The human paramedicats were very nice and appeared to know what they were doing. #WhiskersWednesday #Cat #CatsOfMastodon #Paramedicat
The tall one has disappeared again. I really can't be doing with all this coming and going, it's most aggravating. I had hoped she would take Eric this time, but she didn't, more's the pity, as her bag was full of a bear. #CatsOfMastodon #Cats

I spent the best part of an hour twitching and glaring into space. I even froze out my preferred human, which is not something I do except under extreme duress. It was the only way to cope.
That was last week, though.
This week, I did not retreat into wall-staring mode once, despite the situation being, if anything, even more horrible than last week. I've reached the age where I'm too much of a venerable senior to deal with dogs, painting, cleaning and Eric all in one day.
