Arch Linux now has a bit-for-bit reproducible Docker image

As a follow-up to the similar milestone reached for our WSL image a few months ago, I’m happy to share that Arch Linux now has a bit-for-bit reproducible Docker image! This bit-for-bit reproducible image is distributed under a new “repro” tag. The reason for this is due to one noticeable caveat: to ensure reproducibility, the pacman keys have to be stripped from the image, meaning that pacman is not usable out of the box in this image. See my other reply on that front: https://fosstodon.org/@Antiz/116736045525050035 Could you please remove any mention that Antonio / Arojas is the author of this attack? This is wrong and misleading. "arojas" is a trusted Arch Linux developer and he's *not* behind these attacks, he just got his git identity being impersonated in the process, just like a lot of other people. The Arch Linux WSL image is now reproducible

I’m happy to share a great milestone I worked on and that we’ve been able to recently reach: The Arch Linux WSL image is now bit-for-bit reproducible! I attended this year’s Reproducible Builds Summit in Vienna during which I had the occasion to discuss with Holger Levsen (a.k.a. h01ger - Debian member / contributor and part of the Reproducible Build Core team) about reproducible releng images (like OCI images, ISOs, etc…).
