@SuperDicq For some strange reason she was engulfed with girls. All of them actually liked being around her. Some were even jealous and/or envious (I don't remember the difference between these two words, but there is a fundamental difference which is applicable here). To me it felt a bit out of nowhere, just because the plot demanded it. Maybe I'm just too autistic to understand her friends' motives. I don't remember. It has been years.
