She has a collar with her name on it, so we all know Miss Neo is faking it when she parks her plump calico body on the doorstep and tries to look like she's never seen a bite of food. Do I feed her anyway? Of course. I never refuse a calico anything.

@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social one of our old cats came to us as a stray. Mum worked in one of the only shops in our small town, so she heard a lot of chatter and she was able to track the stray's wandering from street to street and door to door. He was always fed but moved on. So when he finally turned up at our place she knew right away it's "the stray". Might have been the reason why he decided that our house was the one to stay forever. 🤣 He still kept wandering through our neighbourhood tho, and had at least three different names 😂😂

@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social We have an orange cat who was coming home smelling of fresh washing, like he'd been sleeping in a washing basket full of warm clothes. You have never seen a cat look so sad as when the woman who lived next door moved and took her washing basket with her.
