New My Azeroth Life episode, and our first WoW Forever show: "The Cud-Singer's Grandsons." A new narrator, the Mulgore Chronicler, tells how three calves became Haymaker the Warrior, Bullseye the Hunter and Ruminant the Druid, before Forever launches Nov 4. About 19 minutes, with chapters. https://myazerothlife.com/podcast/the-cud-singers-grandsons/ #wowforever #warcraft

New on My Azeroth Life: "The Eagle on Akil'zon's Reach." Burrly mans Zul'jan's ballista to buy the Amani time to flee a lost Atal'Aman, carries three gnarldin heads up Akil'zon's mountain, lights the Hash'ey Shrines, and then simply jumps off the temple. The eagle answers. https://myazerothlife.com/2026/10/burrly-akilzons-reach/ #worldofwarcraft #warcraft

StoryTracker, the free WoW addon for Forever and Retail, now takes a screenshot at each story moment and logs what happened and where. Every kind of shot can be switched off. https://blog.ninepointlabs.com/2026/10/storytracker-auto-screenshots/

My Azeroth Life Podcast question: the show follows several characters, with a Retail and a Forever episode each week. Would you rather get one weekly show with everyone's stories, or a short episode per character, maybe one a day? #warcraft #wowforever #azeroth #podcasts

New on My Azeroth Life: "The Sunwalker at Fairbreeze." Meet Dawnbrisket, the Tauren camp cook who kept the smoke pit for the Sunwalkers' dawn drums until An'she answered as warmth in his hands, which for a cook is a very confusing way to be chosen. Left behind when Aponi Brightmane went to the Siege of the Sunwell, he reaches Quel'Thalas late, takes up Astalor's hunts, and gets jumped four times in Fairbreeze. https://myazerothlife.com/2026/10/d...

I've archived Rune, my AI word processor for Linux and Omarchy. It reached 0.8.7 in about two weeks with 504 tests, and I learned a lot. Then I found WordCraft, a fast open-source Rust word processor from the ArtCraft team. It already does what Rune set out to do, and more. Its AI works through a CLI, a JSON control channel and an MCP server, so you bring whichever assistant you like. https://blog.ninepointlabs.com/2026/10/sunsetting-rune/ WordCraft: https://getartcraft.com/apps/wordcr...

In common fashion, after I fought the battle that is name reservation, I came up with a whole new plan on characters and names. Now I will fight that battle on the 4th. #wowforever #warcraft

The My Azeroth Life podcast is now on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. It's two episodes a week following a few Tauren through Azeroth, one in Retail and one in WoW Forever. New on My Azeroth Life: the Vilebranch laid a fog over Numazon to hide what they were doing to the Witherbark. It hid Burrly instead. Eight captives walk out alive, and the mist still doesn't lift. https://myazerothlife.com/2026/10/burrly-numazon-crypt/ #WoWForever #Warcraft #worldofwarcraft

Fixed a sneaky bug in Autonomix CLI. Our ideas repo builds a package named idea, but the installed check only guessed from the app and repo names. So the install worked, the check said not installed, and the app got reinstalled on every update. Now it reads the real package name from the downloaded file (pacman, .deb or .rpm) and saves it. Apps already in your config fix themselves on the next check. It ships in the next release. https://autonomix-cli.ninepointlabs.com #Linux

I wrote up the full story of Persistwise on the blog. Most of us don't lose writing because we're careless. We lose it because the web is a rental, and the Wayback Machine only saves what someone asks it to save. So Persistwise asks every time. It reads your RSS feed every 15 minutes and keeps three copies of each new post: a Wayback snapshot, an IPFS pin, and a saved copy. https://blog.ninepointlabs.com/2026/10/persistwise-launch/ #IndieWeb #Blogging

fun fact about Linkguard: there's no Linkguard server at all. It runs inside your own GitHub Actions, and the only thing that ever goes to archive.org is the link URL itself, never your files. No telemetry either. https://linkguard.persistwise.com #StaticSites #IndieWeb

I always switch back and forth from the digital and analog tasks, journal, notes life. I love being on paper, but carrying something to write with 24x7 is hard. I’ve tried hybrid, but in all reality digital thoughts never make it back to the paper.

I’ve decided my brain cannot contain emacs and vim commands at once, so sticking with Vim

I’m working on the command line version of my webapp NostrFeedz. I’m working on how to deal with images. In the right terminal (kitty, alacritty, ghostty) they come inline. But in others, do I have it so they open in browser, image viewer, maybe a hover to image viewer? #dev #terminal https://nostrfeedz.com

So, I used Omarchy for a couple weeks and Cosmic Desktop for a couple weeks. I’m Torn to which I should make my permeant home. Omarchy is definitely way more exciting and customized, but Cosmic seems a bit stabler. Maybe, I have to do Omarchy one more time, to see.
