New day, new blog post - it's my weekly gold making wrap up for week 41 in #WorldofWarcraft. A profit of 3.6 million gold, which was pretty nice. https://pixelnomad.ca/2026/10/12/wow-gold-making-wrap-up-week-41-2026/

If you're doing the 'Lost Animals' neighbourhood quest, this comment from WoWHead is brilliant. Turn on steady flight, and make a macro that says: /tar Lost Animal /ping [@target] Then just fly around the zone spamming your macro. #WorldofWarcraft

Made some washi stickers today because life is better with more stickers. The Halloween bits are from Saloni, the goblin chibi is a comission from Mischi, the heart avatar is from Mijux, Quail Creations logo is my own. ^^

Seen this floating around Bluesky so of course here it is for Masto - latest NVIDIA App update adds a Default-ON option that allows AI Agents to control the app. Might want to turn it off.

I love salty / sweet, so I decided to try making the plain Ruffle chip + marshmallow square things, with melted chocolate on top. Uhms. It's amazing. I love it so much. YUM. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/BomQd-uCixk

It's nice and cold out lately, which means it's time to break out the hand knit socks (working on my next pair). #sockknitting #fiberarts #knitting

I started 2026 with the loose goal of 'moving more than I did last year' - nothing set in stone, just that basic wish. Because I have MS, sometimes doing that one thing is really hard. Plus I'm 45, I've got 2 young neurodivergent kids, life be life-ing. Anyway. We're headed towards 2027, and I have to say - I am so fucking proud of myself. Every green line is a day I exercised on the treadmill. I fucking rocked it. Lost 30lbs, too. Easy? Fuck no.

Just finished watching Season 2 of "Shrinking" on Apple TV. Holy shit, I love this show. Bawled my eyes out. Had never even heard of it before. So full of feels.

Does anyone out there want my WoW:Forever friend code to play? Have at it. :) Maybe just let me know if you've used it, so I can remove the post after. WSRH-G5NJ-95GXV-VFD3-8MPD #WorldofWarcraft

Managed to fit in a bit of soloRPG tonight, playing through Cartograph still. I ended up in (yet another) forest, called Dancing Timberland. Gained some rep, gained some food. Trip was expedited for unknown reasons. The pencil parts of the map are unexplored but do exist as exploration options. The coloured locations are fully explored. Dotted line shows my path. Fantastic game for those who enjoy mapping RPGs. #soloRPG

What a weird day. I mentioned last year the grocery delivery person asked if they could have my poppies growing in my flower bed and it threw me off. Well, today, unprompted (no delivery) they came by with a friend. They said a friend of theirs had died, and they asked if they could have my poppy seeds that are in my flower bed......... Husband was the one who answered the door this time, so he said nope, and said sorry for your loss. Then I went and ripped out the flowers.

I had two partially filled bobbins that have been sitting for a while, so I decided to ply the merino & alpaca together and free up 1 bobbin + make room for more alpaca. It's REALLY soft and plush. It will rest for a bit, then onto the niddy noddy. I'm thinking of dying with avocado, for a dusty rose. #fiberarts #spinningwheel #yarn

Yesterday sucked. No power all day long, then when it came back at night, no internet until 3am or so. Looks like things are OK now. I am working on fixing the cert on my creative blog, it will take some time (tech inept here). <3

Side note, I'm offline ONE day, and Firefox updated and now I hate it. -.-

One of the good results of a power outage all day / evening is that I finished reading Hemlock & Silver (T. Kingfisher) loved it. Not my typical genre, so I gave it a 4/5 as it was a great book but just not quite there for me personally. Still, really enjoyed. It doesn't seem to matter what she writes, I am just a big fan of her style in general - and if I enjoy the genre (Paladin series for example) easy 5 star.

@bearmine@gamepad.club These types of revivals are popular, even looking at EverQuest Legends. Except for EQL I have to pay a completely new subscription that's separate from EQ/EQ2.

New day, new blog post! It's time for my weekly World of Warcraft gold making wrap up. This week brought in profits of 1.5 million gold - not great, but not bad either. https://pixelnomad.ca/2026/09/14/wow-gold-making-wrap-up-week-37-2026/ #WorldofWarcraft #GoldMaking

Big huge thanks to the artist who reminded me that it's OK that my sketchbook is a disaster and doesn't showcase anything finished or awesome - it's a place for ideas. I see so many beautiful finished pieces done in sketchbooks and then these incredible sketchook tours and it's so easy to compare myself. This isn't a slight against those types of sketchbooks, either. I just don't work that way, and sometimes it can make me feel bad. #artist #pr...
