What a weird day.
I mentioned last year the grocery delivery person asked if they could have my poppies growing in my flower bed and it threw me off.
Well, today, unprompted (no delivery) they came by with a friend. They said a friend of theirs had died, and they asked if they could have my poppy seeds that are in my flower bed.........
Husband was the one who answered the door this time, so he said nope, and said sorry for your loss. Then I went and ripped out the flowers.
