I uploaded Castella Tower to Comic Fury :BlobCat_MeltThumbsUp: https://castellatower.thecomicseries.com/ it seems a lot of fun so far! it has social features and an active community of webcomic lovers. and importantly, it lets me have custom css, so it's now superior to my own website lol. finally, working comments without me having to deal with privacy stuff. been fixated on puyo puyo lore lately. in particular, the part where they resolve conflicts through a puzzle battle. like I guess it makes about as much sense as solving conflicts through children trading card game duels, but so far there are no egyptian gods involved, and none of the magic systems seem to explain why there are puyos and how they became existential threats. they just somehow accept that challenging random passerby into puyo battles is just a socially acceptable thing to do.

[self-promo campaign] Hey all, read the comic by me and Lazcht! It's really good! I mean, I think it's really good. Some people have also told @lazcht that it's really good and that they are waiting for chapter 2. I don't know why they told him and not me though. I guess he's just nicer and more approachable in general. Me? I'm more of the outwardly aloof hermit writer type, so I kinda get it, but I want to hear praises too... 👉👈 You can help: ❤️‍🩹...

there was this uncle guy from The Elusive Samurai (which is based on history) who is described as a "coward" at every chance, yet despite that he participated in every war and showed great leadership. at some point he got too old and sick to fight, so his princely nephew relieved him of all duties to which he broke down into tears of relief. it turns out he was actually veeeeery tired. he just wanted someone to validate his life and tells him he's done enough.
