been fixated on puyo puyo lore lately. in particular, the part where they resolve conflicts through a puzzle battle. like I guess it makes about as much sense as solving conflicts through children trading card game duels, but so far there are no egyptian gods involved, and none of the magic systems seem to explain why there are puyos and how they became existential threats. they just somehow accept that challenging random passerby into puyo battles is just a socially acceptable thing to do.
