We had two #homeschool activities going on at the same time #today -- science activity at the library, and gleaning at an apple orchard. My kids voted library, but we haven't gone apple picking this year and the library activity is weekly, so I overruled. One kid stayed in the car reading while the other played with friends and got a ride in the farmer's side-by-side.

Hey #notebook nerds -- anyone know where I can buy a Peter Pauper Press Essentials Dot Matrix A5 notebook in #Canada? I usually get them on Amazon Canada but they are out of stock, only available from third party sellers for 4x what I've paid before. They're out of stock on the Peter Pauper Press website. Shout out to Exor Games in Charlottetown, PEI. They were selected as one of the stores to carry the new Neopets Battledome TCG for the prerelease in Canada. We had a fun time at their learn to play night, and they are working on adding more events. Currently, there is a casual Neopets time on Sundays 1-5 (same time as causal Pokemon). Also shout out to the team at Upper Deck who worked on this game, it is beautiful and super fun. https://exorgames.com/ https://www.upperdeckblog.com/2024/06/dec...

Recently, i've recommended Mastodon a few times to people looking for alternatives to US-based social media platforms, so I thought I would come back and poke around a bit. While I'm here, I'll share some info about voting in the upcoming Canadian federal election. If you are eligible to vote, please do! Advance polls are a great option, especially if you are not 100% sure that you will be able to get out to vote on election day. I plan to vote in advance just in case I...
