#WordWeavers 11/9: What does your MC believe about themselves at the beginning of the story that turns out to be completely wrong? Dear lord… That he is saving humanity. That his brain is broken. That the monsters are bad. That the humans are good. That he has done no harm to anyone ever. That he will die before 45 when his heart explodes like a grenade, jutting his ribs out like fingers. (That last one is very literal.)

TODAY'S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/TTTysuhn-rE Your worth is not about being "productive." Creative, you need downtime. That’s how you trigger your default mode network—the term for your problem-solving skills that work behind the scenes. #2rulerecovery #writers #artists #makesomethingnew #humanmade —— My weird books: https://ruthannereid.com

9/13: Share a line of dialogue that sounds innocent without context but absolutely isn't. "Shower. Now." He shoves me toward the bathing cubicle. (Sadly, this is not the sexy-times kind of un-innocent)

DAILY VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/A7vPYpXZQJI Money and fame are not the point. Creative, the point is breaking out of block (writer’s or otherwise) and forming the habit of DAILY creation. It isn’t easy, but it is simple. There are only two rules. #2rulerecovery #writers #artists #makesomethingnew #humanmade —— My weird books: https://ruthannereid.com

Hey, friends. REALLY IMPORTANT REMINDER: No one you vote for will be perfect. People who try to focus on “this promise wasn’t kept” when all the others were are trying to ensure YOU DON’T VOTE. Want to know where it leads when some Democrat isn’t left enough for you and don’t vote? That’s where we are now! Congrats. You were morally perfect. The world is worse.

TODAY'S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/WxRVkJdp2w0 Everyone has different styles of creation. Some do it in the morning. Some need to work at night. Some need white noise; others need silence. None of these ways are wrong as long as you CREATE. #2rulerecovery #artists #humanmade #writers #makesomethingnew My weird books: https://ruthannereid.com

RE: https://mstdn.ca/@hewer_of_code/117006185768553434 The biggest clue was when they changed their company motto from "don't be evil" to "do the right thing." Those are VERY FREAKING DIFFERENT. And here we are, as a result.

RE: https://social.lol/@neatnik/117005471112076024 This is honestly the key to life. To making relationships work, and to know when you need to cut them off. To know where your boundaries need to be drawn, and where other people’s lie. This understanding is crucial to any kind of personal equilibrium.

Ya girl might end up kicked from Amazon. Why? Because the book I wrote and copyrighted they now claim was previously published by some other publisher, and they want a letter from that publisher releasing the rights. THERE IS NO PREVIOUS PUBLISHER. I am losing my mind.
