My dream is to ramble in front of a government body about how we are the good guys as "industry leaders" and people giving to a community are the bad guys because they compete with us.

So one of the concerns i heard about the #SteamController is its size when in reality it is about the same size as all as thenother "standard" console controllers that are out there already. I have caught my self checking a few times when playing because it feels real good and I am thinking this just feels like a "normal" controller but with some wanted touch pads. Which os exactly how i felt with the #SteamDeck. I think for sure this controller is easily my new "main...

finished watching Project Hail Mary 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑 https://log.melonbread.xyz/movie/41UlxsHjfxgveP7glXGbI0 Everything that took place on the ship was done fine enough though every flashback was butchered to smithereens. Crazy how they cut out ALL SCIENCE explanation for anything done so things "just happen" or things "just get named" kinda weird. Though I can not imagine a better adaption for super normie mom audiences. Which fun fact my mother loved this movie so mission accompli...

Ended up taking my old PC and refactoring it to a "#Steam Machine" to try and save some money if the official Steam Machine is super high priced (which it will be). Ended up going with #Bazzite because that is what a lot of wannabe normies talk about when they joke about installing a #Linux based OS for gaming. So after about 5 minutes of research I decided the -deck variant was the way to go since all I wanted was a Steam Deck experience permanently hooked up to my living room TV....

wants to play Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream https://log.melonbread.xyz/game/0O7dS3DwDvMvuske6jnVh3 Played the Demo today and it is exactly what I wanted which is just more #TomodachiLife . Excited for it to come out and LOVE the updated Mii Maker features as I think people will be able to make some really cool Miis. I do find it interesting for a game that lives by its shareable moments does not let you update clips from the Switch Album online. Guess they were afraid of what people would...

LOL Someone threaten to contact Gamer's Nexus on me over the phone because they can not read warranty information. Like is this the new meta threat to try and get what you want when stomping your feet does not work?

finished reading The Restaurant at the End of the Universe 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑 https://log.melonbread.xyz/book/40ohcVPoqZiUISJ89yDCY7 While I did enjoy this book more than the first one, I really get the vibe that author really does not like any of the characters they have written.

finished watching Hoppers 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑 https://log.melonbread.xyz/movie/1p3lV4auel8XfxvBiwXAm0 A above average Dreamworks movie from mid 2000s but made by Pixar and came out in 2026.

stopped reading Life, the Universe and Everything https://log.melonbread.xyz/book/0VMhQqdT3VH4qnmFdovpq0 Got a couple chapters in and I am kind of over it. I am not sure if I am done with this series forever or if I am just going to put it on hold to read later

started reading Earthlings https://log.melonbread.xyz/book/4BqLAqGGFBGHqcaf12Q5HU So this is the first book I plan to read off the list of "disturbing" books from Man Carrying Things' new video. I am actaully pretty interested in the concept as it kinda of reminds me of Haruhi but like what if she was not actually god. Also I hear it goes places and I am always wanting to go places.

finished reading Earthlings 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕 https://log.melonbread.xyz/book/4BqLAqGGFBGHqcaf12Q5HU This maybe one of my favorite books I have read in ages. I could easily see myself finishing in a day if I did not force myself to wait. I normally read to help myself sleep but fuck man the two nights I tried to do that with this book I just kept going. I have not had something hit me this hard since Goodnight Punpun. While also nailing the fact I said this was Haruhi through a realistic lens, I was a...

started reading Convenience Store Woman https://log.melonbread.xyz/book/1We1sPE7GqBmzZUgSfK2Pu Curious how this compares to Earthlings since this is the book title that is plastered all over her other English translated books.

finished reading Convenience Store Woman 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑 https://log.melonbread.xyz/book/1We1sPE7GqBmzZUgSfK2Pu Wow I think that is the first time I finished a novel in less than 8 hours. This book is fine, barley holds a candle to Eathings IMO but still very good in its own right. Way more chilled out and relaxed compared to Eathings as well. Even if the protagonists from both books are both undiagnosed Autistic females trying to make it through life. This book lacking chapters really threw me for...

finished playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction 🌕🌕🌗🌑🌑 https://log.melonbread.xyz/game/1RJmSVXTdPH9FuRseNfmAy A worse version of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards that drags on

finished playing Resident Evil Requiem 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑 https://log.melonbread.xyz/game/49prCY4Fdg02iQWiV2vNtP It is like the creative team was afraid to tell a story. There is a lot of good in this game but man is it dragged down by the following: - Inconsistent pacing - Grace is insufferable - lol What bosses - Game not following its own rules - Recycling the same "zombies" over and over. - Kind of short for even for a #ResidentEvil - That price tag for what they give - 5 layers of DRM - R...

finished playing Pokémon Pokopia 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗 https://log.melonbread.xyz/game/3c3gCScDWR4pjr0mOBaaN0 Fanatastic in almost everyway! Love the game design here where no matter how you decide to play (multiplayer or single) you are progressing everywhere. One of the few games where the I actually POGed a couple yes when they wanted me to. My only wish is that there was more content and things to discover. Left me wanting more in a good way and by no means from lack of content.

finished watching The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑 https://log.melonbread.xyz/movie/3fo90a6unReO6Y29s1zXZD So re-watched this movie just to see how it holds up after reading the book, an man is the casting just spot on IMO. I think they pretty much nailed every member of the main crew. Though I get why this movie got a lot of hate as it pretty much ads what I will can fanfic in the second third of the movie due to needing to extend the run time (as to be honest very very little...

started playing Pokémon Pokopia https://log.melonbread.xyz/game/3c3gCScDWR4pjr0mOBaaN0 I really was not feeling this game at first as it seemed really shallow. But after the first couple hours and doing some multiplayer with @rogue@melonbread.xyz it is really starting to grow on me (no pun intended) and is quite deep and effort went in. Though I will say after playing this this 100% feels like The #Pokemon Company's answer to #PalWorld

started playing Vampire Survivors https://log.melonbread.xyz/game/1kzh5hHrhuFmskC0nH0x3s I know I am late to the party on this game but after playing the god awful #Medabots Survival mobile game that got a global release a couple weeks back, I figure instead of giving them any of my money it would be better just to buy this game with DLC. And so far I am enjoying it here and there. I kind of wish the game was a bit faster pace or could turn up the speed but aside from that it is pretty solid...
