I think they pretty much nailed every member of the main crew. Though I get why this movie got a lot of hate as it pretty much ads what I will can fanfic in the second third of the movie due to needing to extend the run time (as to be honest very very little happens in the first book when you break it down), but I do not know what else they could have done really. There was A LOT of random changes that seemed to happen to tell a self contained story because it did not seem they were interested in making any more movies, but all in all I feel the people who made it really did like the source material and wanted to do the best job they could.
