The idea of CEOs and celebs getting the iPhone duo early is pretty funny. My iPhone 16 Pro Max full on kernel panicked this morning on iOS 27, and that’s muuuch more mature hardware, and that’s me, who does use it for my job but not in the “if i don’t send this email in the next 2 minutes everyone’s finished” kind of using it for my job. And my 16PM is pretty mature tech at this point, duo is coming in so hot they couldn’t get it on mainline iOS, it has its own little branch, and own special X...

Wow I didn’t expect to actually be able to buy a steam frame but here I am, head of the queue, waiting for me to confirm my payment. I was hoping it would actually take a bit longer so I’d have more time to decide. #steamframe #vr

There are two thoughts in my head. Hypothesis: as a solo/indie #gamedev creating a video game for an obsolete platform might be less risky than making a game for modern platforms. Built in audience of completionist collectors that can form a sales floor that can’t exist on steam, built in community of people that you don’t need to assemble from scratch for word of mouth, platform limitations well understood by user base naturally limiting the scope of the game to be accomplishable by a small t...

Thought experiment: there is a button, if you choose to press it, someone’s day goodness will be set to how good you feel pressing the button (it is an awesome button, the best button you’ve ever pressed) MINUS how good you feel about the day you’ve given someone else The button will execute after you lift off the button giving you as much time as you need to go around the feedback loop but holding the button feels worse the longer you hold it Do you press the button and if so, when do you rel...

@mcc I am convinced that DB Cooper’s name is Data Base Cooper. It’s very clear to any student of history that they invented the database and named it after themselves
