The idea of CEOs and celebs getting the iPhone duo early is pretty funny. My iPhone 16 Pro Max full on kernel panicked this morning on iOS 27, and that’s muuuch more mature hardware, and that’s me, who does use it for my job but not in the “if i don’t send this email in the next 2 minutes everyone’s finished” kind of using it for my job. And my 16PM is pretty mature tech at this point, duo is coming in so hot they couldn’t get it on mainline iOS, it has its own little branch, and own special Xcode, which only came out like today. If CEOs are psyched to beta test something like that then that’s kind of a big deal from a marketing perspective but I can see that backfiring pretty hard #IPhone #iphoneduo
