    I reached the Canadian border a few days ago, marking the end of my Pacific Crest Trail thruhike. A stunningly beautiful walk and a great privilege to have been able to do! New adventures may be announced when they materialize :) A few photos of some of the many highlights of the journey.

    @Wrewdison Thanks, I will definitely be checking this out! I&amp;#39;m also on the job market and spun up a changedetection instance (https://github.com/dgtlmoon/changedetection.io) that monitors changes in carreer pages of companies I might apply to. That way I don&amp;#39;t have to go back and see if anything new appeared.

    I just ran into my first reCAPTCHA QR code - one I simply can not solve, as I do not own an Apple device or a device with Google play services. One of those is required to complete the challenge. Let&amp;#39;s hope this kind of challenge does not spread, as it relies on people having (1) a phone running specific software, (2) on hand, (3) with an internet connection. A lot of assumptions to make simply to allow someone to view a webpage.

    The EU is running a questionnaire on two cornerstones of wildlife conservation in the European Union: the birds and the habitats directives. The survey is motivated by a push for efficiency and simplification of EU rules. It is important we make it heard these directives are important and should not be watered down in a push for simplification!
