The EU is running a questionnaire on two cornerstones of wildlife conservation in the European Union: the birds and the habitats directives. The survey is motivated by a push for efficiency and simplification of EU rules. It is important we make it heard these directives are important and should not be watered down in a push for simplification! They are looking for the opinions and views of stakeholders, as well as the general public.
