    It&amp;#39;s 4 pm. I am drinking my first cup of coffee for the day. I brushed my hair, but I&amp;#39;m not dressed yet either. I&amp;#39;ve got a caffeine headache from sleeping so late minus coffee. This is what post &amp;quot;bad day&amp;quot; looks like for me.     Today&amp;#39;s dinner is courtesy of Dinnerly. We used their meal kit yesterday for chicken fajitas. I hope their gyros are better than their fajitas were. I&amp;#39;m a good cook, so simplified recipes minus many of the traditional ingredients are a hard sell for me. #Dinnerly #MealKits #Cooking #Recipe #Dinner #SeniorLife

    Today was a horrible, awful positively no good kind of day with pain. The hot tub had gotten turned off when we had a brief power outage last night, so it took all day to get to a min temp. Nothing helps, so I&amp;#39;m going to hit the hay and hope tomorrow is better. Cross your fingers that my back settles down and I can move a bit! #SeniorLife #ChronicPain #BackPain

    My back is staging a strike. The ONLY relief I get is from the hot tub, and that&amp;#39;s temporary as well as restricted by how long I can use it before overheating. To add in the mix is mother nature. She&amp;#39;s standing with my back for the strike with a string of thunderstorms. Gotta love life. #SeniorLife #ChronicPain #BackPain

    Last night, a native frog (barking frog, to be specific) jumped through the door along with me. Considering the chaos that a june bug delivers with our cats and the fact I thought it was a toad (toxic &amp;amp; don&amp;#39;t want that) it was PURE chaos for a few minutes, compounded by my difficulty in moving. Hubby rescued it and identified it as the frog rather than a toad (similar in size, and its not like it hung around to let me ID it). Regardless, it was released in safety outside. #Ca...

    Saw my dr today As usual, we&amp;#39;re going through the list of horribles. So far this year, it&amp;#39;s been 2 different cancers (nope, early on in the test process) and now it&amp;#39;s who knows what involving degenerating joints &amp;amp; spine and/or calcified arteries reducing blood flow to critical areas. More tests to follow. On the plus side, I got a couple of shots that will offer me short term pain relief, although at a cost of random high blood sugar. Gotta love the #SeniorLif...

    Life... First, the food processor died and wouldn&amp;#39;t spin the blade. Hubby messed with it too. Then I went to use the blender to replace it (making garlic butter, so it&amp;#39;s pureed together.) Couldn&amp;#39;t get that to work either, so knew that was something stupid (didn&amp;#39;t have it locked into place).     For those who wonder about those pay-to-play apps Mistplay pays pretty quickly at 1st, though earning gift cards is harder after a while. Rewarded Play is slower, but also pays. Habit Gift also pays, but much slower than the others. No opinion on Tap Champs yet, but it looks like a slow one w/few game options. I have actually claimed (and spent) about $200 in gift cards to Amazon in the last 2 months. Not getting rich but it does help. #Phone #Gaming #SeniorLife #Money #GiftCards

    My hiking days are gone, and I know this, but...I have to admit, I have done a 5+ mile hike using a cane in the past, as well as a much shorter 1.5 m hike with a walker over a path that wasn&amp;#39;t exactly &amp;quot;accessible&amp;quot; by any stretch of the imagination.     i haven&amp;#39;t been on much. It&amp;#39;s been pure hell here, with two a/c outages within a week, neither of which was cheap nor could have been predicted. It&amp;#39;s also been a month of heat warnings nearly daily. I&amp;#39;m so glad that our GOP reps in MS have decided they won&amp;#39;t do climate change. Just think of what it would be like if they admitted it was real?
