    Food is good and cheap at this Banh Mi shop in St Albans #Melbourne and in fine weather there is a lively group of people drinking coffee outside. They seem to sell a lot of Vietnamese coffee so this might be a good place to buy it if you like it (I just like normal and boring flat white).

It is hosted on an old laptop with household internet connection in Australia so might not be the fastest or highest uptime. The software (a fork of snac) is minimalist but fine for posting updates and looking through recent posts.

    My mum asked the staff at Mordialloc Woolworths about yesterday&#39;s machete attack, and they told her they&#39;re not allowed to talk about it. I can understand why staff might be told not to tell anyone about it while police are investigating. But I&#39;m annoyed by the lack of follow-up reporting on violent crimes. Every time one of these attacks happens, I scour the internet for months afterwards looking for information about the motive, whether anyone was charged, and what eventually happ...
