  i tested batoceras new built in recorder and while it's decent it's still cpu heavy it seems for my ryzen 5 2400ge at least it hit the cpu so hard the recording was like 12fps so obs with a capture device is still your best bet unless you are running batocera on something very high spec

  My hangups with hosting a peertube is i'd have to keep the host computer on 24/7 and having to maintain the server to prevent DDOS attacks CVE coming out of nowhere and not being home to update the kernel so my server is exploitable It's not easy to keep a server running and secured

  The switch to xwayland is not going well On my testing with batocera games that used to work in wine perfectly fine are now exhibiting graphical texture bugs that result in broken textures flashing all over the screen Might need to look into a way to make artix linux do everything Batocera can do
