Despite the fact gas is around $6.30/gal and diesel is around $8.30/gal, you can still find E85 for $2/gal. Flexfuel drivers stay winning. We’re so cooked fam. #oilcrisis

The Trailseeker is not a race car but if put it in sport mode and send it the car plants you in the seat and zooms away faster than anything I’ve experienced. Those Turanzas aren’t up to snuff for high speed pulls as I can get them squealing, but traction control makes the car very controllable. #subaru #trailseeker

It’s almost Simchat Torah, which means it’s been three years since I started seriously looking into Judaism. It’s wild to think back on. It was a feeling inside that was hard to place. Almost like a yearning. I asked a friend what to do about it and they recommended I talk to my local rabbi. Which I was gonna do that day via email. An apt time to begin my studies in earnest. World events that day delayed me hitting send by a couple months because rabbis were suddenly very busy but that day wa...

I find it kinda funny that my interest in buying an electric vehicle started way back in college when I volunteered to drive a Ford C-Max for a field trip. That goofy little shit.

An interesting connection I just made is that the OpenStreetMap app allows that you download and view new regions in rectangular blocks like a digital version of buying copies of The Thomas Guide. Almost nobody younger than me is gonna know what I’m talking about.

I’ve grown apart from DCS somewhat as finding myself with less free time as I mature in my career. The biggest barrier is the fact designing a scenario that’s somewhat realistic to dogfight or bomb is very finicky and time consuming. I can get creative but placing correct units is an opaque process.

The subject came up over on Reddit and I couldn't help but ponder why I don't go to synagogue anymore. Technically I can right now. My work schedule accommodates me attending a Friday night service. While I find the political aspect of our services grating, I enjoyed myself for the most part the last couple times I attended. What gets me most is the complete lack of community for young adults. It felt lonely being 20-something in a room full of older adults I could connect to, but not...

It’s so nice to be able to eat things that are lactose free instead of taking a lactase pill every time like a sad reminder I need to take this bland tablet to participate in the American culinary landscape.

To my knowledge, the first ever operating systems I used were Windows XP and OS X Tiger. But few know my first Linux Distro experience was CentOS 7 with a Gnome 3 desktop environment.

Having done the impossible and played #DCS multiple times on #Linux, I quite literally have no reason to keep Windows around. The only hangups are: Escape from Tarkov anti-cheatIL2 visually freezing (but running fine behind the frozen screen)Moza Cockpit for the AB9’s force feedbackVRTo be fair I rarely use my VR headset these days and Tarkov is painfully difficult to get into, so really I’m not missing much. If I can figure out that bug with IL2 and pray someone makes a Linux-friendly driver...
