It’s almost Simchat Torah, which means it’s been three years since I started seriously looking into Judaism. It’s wild to think back on. It was a feeling inside that was hard to place. Almost like a yearning. I asked a friend what to do about it and they recommended I talk to my local rabbi. Which I was gonna do that day via email. An apt time to begin my studies in earnest. World events that day delayed me hitting send by a couple months because rabbis were suddenly very busy but that day was when I was able to “crest the hill”. I wanted to know more. I needed to know more. It’s been a rewarding life-changing experience. Idk how to articulate it adequately. Just grateful. #mazeldon #judaism
