Reminder: today is #BandcampFriday. If it's in your budget, go buy some music today.

Asking for me - is there a way to _mute_ a whole fedi domain without blocking at the instance level?

Benefit of a job with unlimited PTO: when my body invariably decides I'm not sleeping on a given night, I don't have to balance remaining time off versus running on energy drinks.

RE: https://mastodon.social/@vicgrinberg/116546164247001866 When I used to go to Sebring, FL, every March for the 12 Hours, smelling the orange orchards on my way to the track was always a highlight.

Just deleted Caviar and Doordash. Seems like losing weight is about to get easier... https://www.queerty.com/oops-doordash-does-damage-control-after-trmp-stunt-but-its-too-late-20260415

@bearmine I bought one around That Time tm, and it’s mostly gathering dust XD

@bearmine@gamepad.club You are _also_ expected to manage files pamac creates when a package install doesn't go perfectly (divergent config, etc.), to the point where maintainers like Manjaro explicitly say in every release announcement "manage your pacnew files!". At some point I went from "neat that I can do anything" to "there are days where I'd like to just use my computer". (I've probably swung too far the other way w.r.t. immutable...)

@bearmine@gamepad.club That is still so weird. I've had a router fail because the reset switch physically failed closed, but I've only had a model obsoleted by speed upgrades, never line noise.

@F1 posted an image of all of the team kits earlier today, but I can't help but think the Aston team kit should be... slightly altered. #f1 #AstonMartin

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyEYum3cIQQ I'm not involved, but this looks interesting. I have an iPad, but I'm not a fan of how Apple designs iPadOS, nor being locked into that ecosystem. An ARM Linux slate could be quite novel.

RE: https://social.vivaldi.net/@Vivaldi/116194272073384044 Newly-out (online) t-girl. My title says Sr. Staff Software Engineer, but I rarely code. I'm mentor more-junior engineers, identifying big rocks to move, rallying people that those big rocks are worth moving, putting fulcrums in place to get those rocks moved. (If that sounds somewhat TPMish, yeah, it sounds that way to me too.)
