  The plan this morning was to see if I can take pictures of the metro approaching from Rocafort to Espanya. With the curve of the track and the short distance between the stations, at specific points at the platform you can see Rocafort from Espnaya. The L1 metro had other plans.

  Tomorrow Vueling will once again resume its Barcelona-Madrid service after having stopped in early 2025. I was curious how many flights go between the two cities, which are roughly 485km apart. On a regular Monday, there are 18 flights going from Barcelona to Madrid, including the two new Vueling services. The capacity is 3158 per day in one direction. In contrast, there are 45 trains from Barcelona to Madrid, with a capacity of 19447 per day in one direction. The journey time by train is rough...

  This week in my railspotting adventures, two Alstom Civia (serie 465) trains on the Pont de la Vanguard. Under this rail bridge is the "La pell de L’Hospitalet" mural. This section of track sites between the Bellvitge Gornal and Barcelona - Sants stations.
