Subject: List of Minetest projects For: #Minetest and personal associates Image: Screenshot of the world Legends of Dragons Short link: https://dansu.org/minetest-projects As some FOSS #gamers know, over the past decade, Minetest has split into five branches and/or groups. I’ll offer the list below. This post was prompted by an email exchange 📧 today with McKaygerhard of #Minenux. I’ll post the email exchange separately. Minetest 1 of 5. #Luanti aka Trolltest [led largely by Andrew Ward ak...

Subject: Return of Ruslan1 Grand Test Auto For: #Minetest Image: Screenshot of Ruslan1 Grand Test Auto Short link: https://dansu.org/ruslan1-gta Minetest and #Luanti people will be familiar with Ruslan1. He’s been around for at least 7 years, but we’ve never known much about him. We figure that he’s neurodiverse, his age is in the 20s, and he’s probably located in one of the Slavic countries. He’s always been polite, regardless, and this month I’ve tried to honor his one request. I created a M...

Sometimes you just want to schedule a post months into the future to when it’ll be relevant! Newer releases of Mastodon 🦣𓃰 include a scheduled 📅 #posting feature. It’s limited in some respects, but it might work well enough for your purposes. If your Fediverse instance [Mas...

She said, “Someone wants to follow me but it feels weird and I cannot remove him…” I’d like to point out something odd about the third account’s numbers. It isn’t a “someone”. That account was create...

Subject: A rescued kitten and real vs. fake For: #cats #ai Image: A rescued kitten that feels safe Short link: https://dansu.org/kitten-rescue-real-vs-fake The attached photo is from a story published in the Baltimore Sun. 🗞️ The story is behind a paywall 💸 , so I’m not able to confirm the source of the photo. However, it might be of the actual kitten 🐈⬛ as opposed to stock or “AI”. 🤖 The story feels like an old Hallmark TV Special. 📺🦋𓍯𓂃𓏧 The vibes are the same. However, real life doesn’t have...

Subject: Turnabout is Fair Play [MS-Word] For: #AI #Microsoft Image: Screenshot of Wordcraft Short link: https://dansu.org/wordcraft-261015 Microsoft has folded #GitHub into its CoreAI division. Github is supposed to be turned into AI now in some manner that isn’t clear. So, I wonder how they [MS] are going to react to Wordcraft [which is hosted on Github]. My adopted son Harold Poetry directed me this morning to the following link: https://github.com/storytold/wordcraft.git That is the code...

Subject: Personal biography @gutenberg_org said: lovely photo, I am a big fan of cats Here's my own #cat of 55 years ago, then. The year is 1971, the cat is named Crystal, and she's dozing on my #photo enlarger. The city is Walnut Creek, California. This was a dignified but friendly cat who enjoyed life and assumed the best of everybody. I'd choose to have the cat back as opposed to anybody who was in the household.

Subject: 3-day water fast I completed a 3-day water fast on Thursday, June 11, 2026. This was the 2nd such fast in the past month. This one ended up as 92 hours or slightly less than 4 days. The goals of this type of fast are to induce ketosis and autophagy, to partly reset the immune system, to reduce inflammation, and to improve insulin sensitivity. It's a cornucopia of benefits. However, there are risks as well. The fast was easy in part because I spent most of Sunday to Thursday i...

@WataruTenkawa_1 Hi. I responded to a post of yours yesterday, but I neglected to respond in the thread. So, you didn't see it and this is a day late. Additionally, I can't find your post again, but hopefully the context of this response will be clear. You called for comparisons of the Fediverse, Bluesky, and Twitter. This was due to a post by somebody else that you considered ill-advised. I wasn't able to see the post that you were commenting on. However, regardless of...

@_L1vY_ @mastodonmigration There have been no complaints that I'm aware of related to my PeerTube instance yet. Nor has Legal in Support at the host commented yet. However, one person in Support is saying that the host doesn't permit any "sensitive" videos to be hosted. By "sensitive", he means, more or less explicitly, videos that might inconvenience Donald #Trump. This includes Status Coup #ICE protest videos. This is a surprise as the h...

Note that biometrics are being added. So, actually, now, it's also to, in the end, physically remove individuals who are so presumptuous as to question the powers that believe they be.
