    @Finickydesert Nothing significant on the features, mostly improvements for the sidebar widgets for those that use them. The most important point was a variety of potential exploits that needed to be fixed ASAP.

    Unexpected upside of moving my common files from #OneDrive to #ProtonDrive: leaving behind all those folders created by various software that don&amp;#039;t try to follow any placement consistency. It turns out that two thirds of the folders in my &amp;quot;Documents&amp;quot; group were various game saves and software preferences instead of, y&amp;#039;know, my documents.

    #VSCode apparently chose to mark all Git commits as co-authored by #Copilot if you use any #AI feature, and even misfires and tags unrelated commits once in a while. https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/pull/310226 In one word, wtf? VSCode is probably my favorite piece of software of the last decade, can we not corrupt it like this??

    Spent a few hours trying to find why a specific git commit is causing our project to fail, only to realize that the AI-powered commit introduced the invisible Unicode BOM in the source. Fun. And no, I didn&amp;#039;t make that commit, I&amp;#039;m the reviewer. But I sure get to fix it myself! This is such a great example on how AI will introduce subtle bugs in your projects. Not a fan.

    Thinking about this over, my main problem with this whole AI thing is that nobody&amp;#039;s telling me what it&amp;#039;s good for. The company I worked at deployed an internal chat bot. Someone asked what the use cases were. Radio silence. It&amp;#039;d be like giving me a new eating utensil without saying what type of meals it works best for. Just... figure it out, I guess?
