One thing I've noticed on various social media platforms is that the biggest responses I get to various questions about #AI, #LLM, and other current popular pieces of tech that awareness of #ChatGPT has driven, is that the most likely response tends to be someone who doesn't understand how any of it works, but FEELS like they do and very confidently challenges any notion that conflicts with their perceived reality of it. If there is a discourse problem, it's ignorance as if an authority.
