@djlink@mastodon.gamedev.place Well it got you to think that it's gonna be powerful enough to successfully attack hospitals or banks. Imagine what it gets the 100% AI-poisoned immoral CEOs and politicians to think, and where their minds go after that.

@jonikorpi@mastodon.gamedev.place @djlink@mastodon.gamedev.place I think the bite-sized term is criti-hype. Apparent criticism of the thing rooted in an overestimation of its capabilities which serves the end of cementing the inflated value.

@jonikorpi@mastodon.gamedev.place Except it is not a big accomplishment to hack someone using your product outside of a sandbox. If they can delete or modify your data, and access internet, then they can easily send all the data to some server. It is like being surprised a cloud provider could easily stole all your data.
