@jonikorpi@mastodon.gamedev.place Except it is not a big accomplishment to hack someone using your product outside of a sandbox. If they can delete or modify your data, and access internet, then they can easily send all the data to some server. It is like being surprised a cloud provider could easily stole all your data.

@jonikorpi@mastodon.gamedev.place But I agree it looks like a PR stunt, particularly in regards of the language used. Their software is malware. The entire “it involuntary hacked the system” is BS. If it wasn’t marketed as AI it would have been a giant lawsuit and branded forever as malicious.
