@Gina@fosstodon.org @_elena@mastodon.social indeed, very sad and disappointing. Thank you so much for trying to make the change happen and supporting the initiative! 🧡🙏

We had an inclusive coalition of organisations willing to sponsor speakers, we were designing cool "not a techbro" stickers, and just lots of cool ideas to platform #FOSS people we generally don't see at #FOSDEM. At a time where female representation in #opensource is at 9.8% (let alone any other intersectionalities), tech bro culture is infiltrating open source projects, and marginalized communities increasingly rely on these FOSS alternatives, we thought this track would be a no brainer.

@Gina@fosstodon.org @RosannaSibora@fosstodon.org @_elena@mastodon.social Hello. I would like to know what's a devroom. Did you wnat to do a conference?, or a workshop? Have you started it? I am writing from FACiL, an organization at Quebec that promotes free software, because we are looking for people, workshops and other ressources (literally whatever) to make a DEI workshop in fr/en for our members and other people who want to join. I mean, if it is possible, could you still do it? If not, could you share what you have done? Thanks
