I couldn't figure out what was so wrong about Tahoe (installed two wks ago). Windows were weird. Opus reminded me Tsai wrote about this. You have to go to Keyboard Shortcuts / Spotlight and turn on search for app names. I navigate by Spotlight AppName so things were behaving oddly Despite the UI appearance you can't actually add a new shortcut key, instead the standard key returns more things. Yes, that UI is really stupid, but that's modern Apple.
